At Make It Easy Transport, we take the heavy lifting off your hands. With over 10 years of logistics experience through our parent company, Time Critical Transport, we specialise in safe, organised student moves. From pre-collection and secure storage to UK-wide drop-off on move-in day, we make sure your student’s belongings arrive on time, safe, and ready to go, while you focus on enjoying the moment together.

How It Works
1 Payment for 3 Loaded Journeys for 1 year

Your one off payment covers the following:

Transport of your goods from an address in the UK and to be delivered to a university or other place of study in the UK

We supply

  • A set of 10 boxes of varying sizes suitable for most students moving into halls or student accommodation
  • Bubble wrap
  • Tape
  • Additional boxes can be ordered

You will need to supply us with the information necessary for the first move, collection address, delivery address, contact information, and the dates required. We recommend that you book the collection about 10 days before the delivery date to ensure a smooth arrangement.

You will be entitled to 2 other moves of the same number of items and you will need to book these when the time comes within the 12 month period.

Large Items
If you need to include things like a bicycle, golf clubs, ski or sports equipment these need to be packed by you in a suitable way to ensure safe travel and are charged at £25 per item up to 2 items.

Please note that we do not move furniture, and that valuable items such as computers, music systems, jewellery and other high value items are best carried by yourself and are not covered on our insurance.

How It Works

Get Your Quote
Complete the online form with all the necessary information.

Confirm Your Booking
One of our friendly team members will be in touch to go through your quotation, timescales, and answer any questions.

Secure Your Move
Pay your deposit and receive your boxes along with your packing guide. Once you’ve confirmed your 1-hour drop-off slot with the Halls of Residence, or University Accommodation, we’ll plan your move.

Pre-Move Collection & Storage
We collect your boxes and items up to 10 days ahead of your move-in day, and bring them to our secure storage facility. You pay the remainder of your booking at this stage.

Move-In Day
On the day, we meet you at the university drop-off point, ready to unload your boxes onto trolleys for your convenience. Parents drive with a few small, precious items (please see our terms and conditions) and enjoy this special day together.
Please note: We do not take your items into the room — but everything will be ready to go, so you can relax, unpack, and enjoy the moment.

After Your Move
Once your student is settled, take a deep breath, enjoy the achievement, and leave us a review. We’re confident we’ve made moving easy for you.
